Due on 7/30 but my last was a Sept baby. I don't plan for due dates so I can't really speak to that. The one child I planned to start the TTC process is a November baby.

First one was me getting sentimental with the holidays approaching and wanting to try. We had planned to start trying the next year. We got pregnant the first month and we weren't really trying yet.

Second time, we were trying for a few months and it happened.

I didn't think I had a "fertile time", so we weren't using BC. Never had a scare in the past, so we figured it wouldn't happen. But we knew it could be a possibility, and were fine with that too.

I am not pregnant now, but B was due in September and born in August. 

She was unplanned and I think holiday travel and and change in routines made my cycle different enough that I thought I wasn't fertile when I was. I'm still not sure what exactly happened though, we had sex twice that month and one time seemed way to early and one too late. I don't remember which time seemed more likely timing wise, but whichever it was we used a condom that time.

C is a late September baby. Timing wasn't intentional (started TTC earlier but had two m/c) but we had a lot of drunk sex over Christmas because my H was off work and he was the result.

I was hoping for a March - July due date actually. October and November are my busiest times at work and I didn't want to have a baby right before that.

We tried all summer and then we're going to take a break starting in December. I was charting and TTA. DH pulled out and it obviously didn't work, haha.

So while the Sept due date isn't ideal for work, we are happy since we were trying for months.

I'm not pregnant, and not trying.

But DD2 is an Oct 2nd birthday. I wanted a 4 year age gap between my kids. It took us 2 years to get pregnant the first time, so DH convinced me to quit my bcp 6 months earlier than "ideal" so my body could adjust and hopefully it wouldn't take 2 years again. Yeah, we got pregnant first cycle.

I really wanted a May baby because EMERALDS

Depending what district you're in they may allow an exception. A handful (Mpls being one!) will assess the child if their birthday is so close to the cutoff. I know Mpls looks at their early childhood screening and has the child come to school to be with a kdgtn room for part of the day in the spring. They look for how the child separates from the parent, how they interact and play with peers, can they sit and work, etc. Not sure in your district but it's worth checking into when the time comes.

Due August 3rd. Pregnancy was planned, but we were aiming for a May/June baby and it took a few months.

DS1 was born in September. We were planning to start trying after the new year, but had been tracking my cycles so we'd be ready. We went on vacation in December and we decided to not to wait until the next cycle since I figured it would take a while.

Our new insurance kicked in 1/1, which is why we were waiting to TTC. We started trying at the end of the year never thinking we would get pregnant right away. It took us 1.5 years last time.

With DD (due 9/19 but born 10/1), the holidays were just coincidental. I was charting to avoid and just thought we were in the safe zone. Ended up being a 5-day separation between sex and ovulation (thought I would O a bit later).

This time (EDD 9/24), the holidays did have a lot to do with it. My sister was in town for Christmas and wanted to spend as much time with DD as she could so we sent her to my mother's for two days. We had fun...too much fun. Another 5-day separation between sex and O day so when I O'ed I just knew we were screwed (no pun intended) because fate. This time I absolutely did expect to O later since post-pregnancy, my cycles got longer.

I'm due on August 20 and definitely got pregnant before the holidays. The timing was sort of planned... I have a major work event in early April 2015 and will be overseas for that for 7-10 days, so we took a break from TTC this past summer so that I wouldn't be too pregnant for that trip. We started up again in September and I got pregnant in mid-November. I did not particularly want an August or September due date (between my birthday, DH's birthday, and our anniversary, we have a lot going on those two months!) but you see how that turned out

I'm probably dropping out of the Sept due date club, but I'll answer anyway. We'd been trying for 7 months so it was just random that this month happened to be the one I got pregnant. Actually, I'd been using OPKs all along, but dec was when I finally started charting again, so maybe that had something to do with it.

12/31 cutoff here! It literally pays to have kids in the fall here if you use daycare because I ran some numbers the other day and we do end up saving a pretty penny in daycare costs. Kinda glad this second oops will have a fall birthday too for that reason. If this pregnancy doesn't work out we will likely wait a while to actually TTC (and do a better job of TTA until then!).

I had a 9/17 baby and just had the most wonky cycle of my life this last month. I think rupertpenny is on to something.

December, and more likely starting with Thanksgiving, is such a clusterfuck of travel, deviating from the routine, and illness. It completely knocked my cycle off this year and DS2 was conceived on cd 25 two years ago, far past when I "typically" ovulate.

Add in some booze and holiday cheer and there it is. Except NOT this year for us, thank goodness.

Ours is September 1. My son was born August 29. So, either he'll be the youngest in his class and start K as a four year old who turns 5 a couple of weeks into the school year, or he's redshirted.

I should have said in the South, lol. 

I feel like it's actually everywhere but here based on past threads though! So the South isn't the weird region, it's the Northeast (or maybe just the NYC metro area).
