How was your weekend?

Did folks have to work yesterday?

I was off but we still had swim practice in the afternoon. In fact, most of my weekend was consumed with swim drama (ugh!) but we also went into the city on Saturday night for dinner with my aunt and aunt followed by going to the BSO. DH scored front row tickets, which was actually a little overwhelming. Lol. 

Anyone else do anything fun?

I can't say I my weekend was fun, my head cold came to a head (no pun intended) over the weekend so I laid low for most of it. I did go to the movie with H Saturday night and I did have yesterday off which was nice. But hey, at least I've got heat!

I did have Monday off and it was a good weekend, but now I'm exhausted! We had a marathon day of furniture shopping yesterday. We hit over 7 stores, including IKEA!, in 8 hours and drove entirely around Boston (128 to 24 back up 93 and around to where we started!). It was nuts. But we got a ton of research done and have mostly decided on our nursery furniture. We also bought a crib, a floor model on clearance that was is perfect condition, so a very MM deal!

I was hoping to get a lot more stuff done at home, cleaning out the office and stuff. Not much was done. Ugh, I'm freaking out but I'm sure we'll find a way to get ready in time. We brought the crib home but have no space to set it up yet!!!

We also managed to go out to dinner Friday and Saturday, which was really nice. Gotta to enjoy the date nights while we can!

We had DS2's first birthday party Sunday afternoon before the game at the in-laws He had a great time though was unsure of whether or not he should, in fact, eat the cake

It was nice. I spent most of it at J's place. We saw The Imitation Game on Saturday, which was awesome.

I worked a 12-hour shift on Monday.
