I purchased these Michael Kors wedge espadrilles 2 summers ago. I popped the MK off and I wear them all the flippin' time. They go with shorts, dresses, and everything in between. They're super comfortable; I can wear them all day long. But I also know they really shouldn't be worn after Labor Day or into fall as they're really a summer shoe. I would love to find a similar shoe that I could wear through fall. I live in a warm climate, so we're sill wearing dresses well into November and I always struggle to find the right shoe. Any ideas? I would like to keep it under $100, but I would go up to $150 for the perfect shoe. Thanks!

For example- I would wear these wedges with all of the dresses below... so what shoe might you suggest to make the outfits more "fall"? Anthro shirtdress
Bailey 44- dress is BROWN, not black!! I'm really confused as to what to wear this fall with this dress
New dress from Nordstrom. I know I can wear gold heels but what about a more casual shoe.
well... I'd still wear the wedges into fall until it was too cold to wear them. I don't believe fashion should follow a calendar.
if you feel you must change shoes, then you could still wear a wedge, but with a stacked or cork or wrapped heel and more substantial straps. like these:
a peep toe is perfect in the fall. and in the winter, and spring, and summer. a peep toe is appropriate all year round. it's about YOUR comfort level and how cold your feet get.
Ohlala- I really like the MK one.. sadly, not in my size on endless... it is on piperlime for $195... maybe I'll wait for a discount code, which you KNOW will happen. If anyone wants to post a linky via the shopping things (you know, where it gets into my cookies and you get cash.. clearly I have no idea what it's called or how it works) I'll be happy to click and purchase via it I appreciate the help!!
So, it appears I'm really favoring MK wedges I guess I need to decide if I like the slingback or not... And goodness, they have got to be comfortable... I have no problem being cold for fashion, but I will not let me feet ache. It makes me grouchy!
ETA- piperlime does not have my size either. (size 7)... grrrr.... ETA2- zappos has both in my size!! I'm going to buy both pairs and see how they feel. Anyone want to link the Vails for "credit" ?
Sunshine - I have the MK Vivian and seriously LOVE (!!!!) them!! They are so comfortable. I've worn them for long periods of time and never had any issues with blisters or anything. I have the canvas/espadrilles style, but I'm sure the patent leather are just as comfy. I'm actually eyeing a pair of vails now, but another espadrilles style.

Alrighty, I went ahead and purchased the MK Vail in "peanut" which is the neutral snakeskin. They were under $100 ($97) so I'm hoping they can work as a great neutral peep toe wedge. I also bought the black patent.... thinking they'll look good with the leather leggings. We shalll see!
