I'm not even sure where to start. Bruschetta? Some kind of tomato/mozzarella thing? Plain old sandwiches? Pasta salad? Ideas and/or recipes appreciated!
When we do wine picnics I do a loaf of french bread, cheese sampler, cubed summer sausage, olives, spinach dip and crackers, fruit, nuts and dark chocolate for dessert. I keep it easy and casual.

Italian antipasti type stuff? Like, salami, cheeses, baguette, olives, tomatoes/mozzarella etc. I wouldn't do bruschetta unless you can put them together after you arrive because the bread gets soggy pretty quickly.
That's a bit basic but those are my picnic go-tos. And perfect wine food!
In my experience, less is better. Just think snacks that go with wine, its not a tailgate. Try some different cheese, crackers, grapes. Do an assortment of fresh veggies and maybe some interesting breads, hummus, mini sandwiches (at most). Really - its all about the wine, don't fill-up in the food you bring.
