The one B&J cookie dough pint is kind of random compared to the others, but that's totally my favorite ice cream, and I would eat it all first, then be disappointed with the other flavors....

Because cat's always know when you've put extra effort into trying to please them, and they turn their noses up at it.

I actually used to have a cat who would lick strawberry ice cream out of the container (we accidentally left one open on the counter once...)

Not mine! They are appreciative I swear! But they do prefer things that aren't meant to be treats for them, like they have their super cool cat tower, but they prefer the couch and the fluffy throw blanket that lives there instead...

They would totally lick the strawberry ice cream from the carton.

Exactly, you get them a cool new toy and they'd rather play with your old shoelaces. Or buy them an awesome bed and they sit in an empty box from Amazon.

Yeaahhhh so true, but I'd still buy them the bed, because I am a sucker. Ha. I think the important thing to do right now however, is go into my freezer and retrieve my own ice cream...and not share...

I love me some doggies too. I want a Bernese Mountain dog someday, because I know he'd save my life in a fire. I KNOW this.

I actually am not a cat-lover or a dog-lover, I'm a case by case animal lover. lol Like there are some dick cats and some dbag dogs out there, but there are way more adorable/awesome/cool ones of both, kwim?

I think I am just becoming more of an animal lover in general as I get older.

I've only had cats -- if you raise them right, then they can be amazing. My parents' cats, on the other hand, are anti-social and boring. I have always wanted a dog though.....I always thought a dog would come BEFORE a baby, but it looks like that might not happen:-)

We're stationed in the UK right now (I'm in the military), so if we got a dog now we'd have to worry about the difficulty and expense of getting it back to the US in a few years. So we were going to wait on getting a dog until we get back to the States. But we definitely don't want to wait that long for a baby (and heck, those are easy to get back!).

My cat used to play fetch (before he got fat and lazy)! Except after a while he got smart and decided it would be more fun for him to bring the toy back to about 10 feet away from me so *I* had to go fetch. And, he licks.

That is cool, DH and I hiked the Grand Canyon in April but I definitely didn't test my balance near the edge like you did.
