I am competing this week (woop woop!) on a really groovy team called "Age Ain't Nothin But a Number." 3 oldz, 3 youngins, it's going to be lots of fun. But this is the first time I've competed without Mr. Wambam being my "pit crew." I cannot possibly pour my own water!
Day 20! I was very jealous of the cheese I put on DH's eggs this morning.
We're expecting snow/wintry mix tomorrow so I'm staying in with the kids. We're just about done making our unused playroom into a project room, so we'll probably spend a lot of time in there doing arts/crafts and Legos.
Sunday is going to be a bit of a cluster, we've got church in the morning and I have a quick training after, then I have about 40 minutes to get kids home and fed before we pick up one of DD's friends to go to a Girl Scout event. This was all totally doable until DH got called in for an emergency response overseas and is leaving for Japan shortly. I have a feeling I'm going to be wishing alcohol was allowed by Sunday evening.

Day 19. It's going to be another nice weekend, so I'll take DD to the park both days. Need to make a Trader Joe's run, and if I get my spiralizer from Amazon I'm getting all kinds of zoodle crazy up in here. Wild times in the SpellingBea house, lol.
I think I've reached the grumpy stage. I'm bored with my food and annoyed at everything.
We have a few things going on this weekend, but nothing I'm looking forward to. Our group run for our moms running club was cancelled tomorrow due to rain (we were doing some trail running). I'm bummed about that. May go swimming with DS, birthday party on Sunday (no cake or pizza It sounds really pathetic, but I feel like all the fun is being sucked out of the weekend without being able to relax with a beer/wine on Friday night.
Day 20. We are throwing DS a bday party tomorrow. It will be hard to resist everything but I did buy a veggies tray. Guess I can have carrots. I have to make his cake today. I had awful stomach cramps yesterday and Monday. Continued all day until I had a BM. Not sure why. And my nails have all cracked or broken this week. That never happens, I have strong nails!
Going to a 5-year-old's birthday party, but the mom of the birthday girl is doing Whole30, too, so I'm sure she'll have some good options.
One of our fav restaurants has nice compliant options (roasted veggies, organic, pastured meat), so maybe we'll hit it up again this weekend as a nice break from cooking.
Day 3. However, I seem to be a day ahead of the timeline.day 1 was headache from hell, day 2 run down, day 3 kill all the things. This is my third time so I know to just hang in.
Weekend...lots of cooking and oprepping during the yucky weather. Sunday is church and hopefully visiting a friend.
Day 19. It's going to be another nice weekend, so I'll take DD to the park both days. Need to make a Trader Joe's run, and if I get my spiralizer from Amazon I'm getting all kinds of zoodle crazy up in here. Wild times in the SpellingBea house, lol.
I love my spiralizer. I am so I love with zoodles after using a julienne peeler and it taking forever I broke down.
I'm on Day 21, I think, and I'm not happy. I am so bored with food right now, weekends drag because we usually go out for dinner one night and it's just not worth the effort, and I still am not seeing any real benefit (I've dropped a few pounds, I think, but nothing super noticeable, I feel the same as always, which is perfectly fine).
Any advice for keeping on keeping on? I'm thinking of throwing in the towel.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
