I used little bath chairs, but truthfully I can't remember the exact age. They were definitely able to sit upright, but that is all I remember. The chairs worked great for quite awhile.
We started really late, like 9 months I think? It was one of those things, where once we did it we wondered why we waited so long. They LOVE bath time and just laugh and laugh at each other the whole time. . We used and still use the bath chair things. I think that once they can sit up alone, they should be fine in the bath. How are things going? I remember things getting a bit easier around 3 months. Until we hit the sleep strike, but that is a whole other issue

Better. They're 15 weeks (8 ajusted). Sleep overnight is really good. They have 2 overnight feeds but are still small so I don't mind. Days are hard bc they want to play but we're limited on what we can do. I start work in a week and FIL is watching them which worries me. He's good with kids and I'm glad to have free daycare for a few months but I hope he can handle it.

That's good they are sleeping so well! Mine were 11 weeks early, so we did overnight feedings for a long time too. Fingers crossed sleep continues to go well! Hopefully your FIL does fine. I feel like it gets easier and easier every month, so as long as he has the energy to chase two, he should be fine!
We bathe all 3 together now. Once the girls could reliably sit up we started. We use a laundry basket to contain the girls and J sits in the tub. It really cut down on time!

I forget exactly, but around 6 months. One could sit perfectly unassisted, but the other had/has gross motor delays, so we sat her in a tub seat until she had more control. I forget when that was. They're five in July so it's been awhile. They still bathe together and will for a good while.
It was late - not until they were really good at sitting. I debated on getting a bath seat/ring, but never did. We used the plastic whale tub for quite a while.
They didn't start bathing together until BoyB started enjoying the water. He hated baths and fought them for awhile which made it really hard to have two in the tub at once. He probably started liking the water at around 12 months, and now we bathe them together (and sometimes throw in our older DD too). We never used any seats or anything.
