Hi, I'm new around here so I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Ashley and my H is AD USAF. We've been together for about 5 years but only married for a month. We're currently in New Mexico and due to PCS in May(hopefully). I'm not so patiently waiting to find out where we'll end up! I'm going a little crazy since I started online school and left my mind-numbingly boring job, so I'm hoping to become a part of the community here. H sometimes forgets that I don't know/remember how some things work so it's entirely possible I'll bug you all with lots of questions, sorry in advance!
Thanks! We have two cats that are 5 years old. Two pups, a year and a half year old australian shepherd mix and a 5 month old german shepherd mix. I love staffies with their smiley faces!
Welcome! I'm also active duty Air Force, in the DC-area. Please do bug us with questions....we get bored and like yapping our flaps about random military tips and factoids. :-)

Welcome. You're just in time for all of out "complaining about things we miss threads". Ask any questions you want. We're not bothered by them. We might not always know the answer but we'll certainly try.
Hi and welcome! I'm AD Air Force, my H is a teacher....we've been married for 3 years,,but I've been in for (shit, what year is it???) a little over 12 years. We've been lots of places...PCSed here in late Aug and are leaving again in early May, which is my fastest turnaround to date :-). If you don't mind sharing, what does your H do? We have a 9-month old son, and a two-year-old kitty named Roxy who we got as a kitten in England and brought back with us (which was effing expensive, but SO worth it).
Welcome! My H is AD AF and we are due to PCS around June. We also are still waiting to hear where we are headed, so I get the impatient excitement! We have 2 cats and 3 dogs, so house full of fur babies here as well

Wow that is quick! H is an aerial gunner, I know they changed the job title fairly recently but I can't for the life of me remember what they changed it to. I hate to keep asking the same question over and over, I swear I need to start writing this stuff down!

We should hopefully *maybe* find out next month. It's driving me crazy, I just want to know! lol

There is a phrase that you will come to know (and hate). The phrase is "hurry up and wait". It means that if someone needs something from you it's urgent but if you need something be prepared with quite a lot of patience.
amaristella I already hate it! It probably wouldn't be so bad but we're thinking about buying a house if we end up at our first choice. I just want to know already so we can start looking!
Stan I don't think so, might have been a mrs something? I probably couldn't find it again if I tried haha

So true!
Ashsmash We PCS in June and "should" know where we are headed end March/beg April. I'm not holding my breathe, but I get the impatience. I can't wait research and see what fun stuff there is to do at our new base.

Oh yes. I'm familiar. I've been known to "browse" new cities with Google street view. I get excited about new places. Although my last couple moves have been major stress events.

Oh no! I'm hoping at least the first one(well, my first one) will go smoothly.
MH is a pilot and his aircraft is being eliminated. We've been waiting for two years now to figure out what we're doing next and now we are one of two families in the squadron that don't have an assignment yet. so frustrating!
Don't mind me. We're stuck over in Korea at the moment, and I'm pretty soured on all things Army at the moment, but I'll try not to be too much of a downer.
DH and I have been married for 9 years. He's got something like 14 years in. I think. I get confused on that every now and then.

I get that, the only reason I can remember how long DH has been in is because he joined the summer after I graduated HS
