We just pulled the trigger on Prime five minutes ago. I'm disappointed in myself since I consider Amazon to be the more modern-day equivalent of Walmart. But the convenience for this year outweighed my ethics, sadly.
I just finished Unbroken and it was such a good book. I feel like I learned so much about WWII and I am in awe of what human beings can survive. I wish my grandpa was still here so I could talk to him about his service.

We bought the $72 Prime today also. We've been going back and forth about getting it, but I think it's time. I think it will be nice to get a discount on diapers/wipes, plus the free shipping is nice (although the 2 day thing is a bit misleading). Not to mention once we get rid of cable it will be nice to have the extra Prime stuff to watch.
Speaking of getting rid of cable, we should be very soon. H is working on setting up internet with a different company that's way cheaper and faster. They do offer cable too, but not in our area, otherwise we'd just do that. We decided to wait on getting a Roku or anything since we realized the Xbox has a majority of the apps we want, and the ones it doesn't have, Hulu Plus has the shows. I figure we can always get it later if we decide we want it.
We got back from the hockey game not too long ago. The first half was awesome, haha. Our friends were also at the game and ended up coming over to sit in the empty seats behind us, so that was fun! Our goalie made an amazing save and we were ahead. Then there was a TERRIBLE call (ok, there were a lot, but they completely robbed us of a goal on this one) and it must have gotten to them because the other team came back and won. Grr. Oh well, I'm happy we made it to a game this year because it will probably be our only one!
