I want my mommy

I've been sick for 9 days straight. My house is a mess. We've eaten take out more in the last two weeks than in the last year. I feel like my whole life is a mess. DS1 starts MDO and I was so looking forward to having a day to rest and then DS1 spiked a fever yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours, so now he can't go to school today even though he's fine now. 

I want my mommy to come and make me soup and clean my house.

I hope that things start to get better soon. I find it helpful to sulk for a little bit and then just clean one corner. (Pick an easy one that won't get wrecked again right away) Then at least I have that one clean corner to look at.

DS1 got sent home from school today because his fever came back after 36 hours without. I took him to the doctor who basically was like *shrug* "Virus."

Which is the most PITA thing to hear ever because there's not a damn thing we can do about it.
