I just finished reading the 1st book. Am I the only one who doesnt care if I read the 2nd or 3rd book? I liked the love story but I just wasnt into the dom/sub stuff.
Should I read the 2nd & 3rd book and give it another chance? Are those 2 books different?
My .02 for what it's worth, lol. I ended up reading the first one before I even knew what it was. I was getting lab work done while pregnant and they were running ridiculously late so I looked at the NYT best seller list on my kindle and that was at the top. It was like two days later that I heard it being talked about on the news. Anyway...
I'm one of those that reads all the books in a series, I just have to find out how things end. I actually preferred book two over book one as it had more of a story to it then just the two of them...similar thoughts on book three and while they touch on his past there isn't a lot of other dom/sub stuff going on, just their very active sex life w/some accessories thrown in. So if you're looking for something to pass the time, don't mind that it's not a literary masterpiece and want to see where the books go, I say go for it.

If you didn't like it, I don't think you should continue on. I was actually just thinking today how much time I waste on reading things that I don't enjoy.
I read the first one to see what it was all about. It was exactly how I thought it would be, dumb, but fun. I have no desire to read the second two either, the first one didn't hook me enough.

I really didn't like the first book, especially when the Red Room was introduced. My friend shared her Nook copy with me and I emailed her and told her that I wasn't going to read anymore. She told me to stick with it and I must say that I enjoyed the 2nd and 3rd books more than the 1st.
