What are you training for? Date? Our track season starts April 3rd - 65 more days!
Training plan for the week? About seven/eight hours on the bike and three strength training sessions
Any vents or issues? Hubs is out of town until Thursday night so I'm dealing with all three kids solo. The gym is easy because of child care but getting in trainer time is much harder.
Highlights or AW 's from the past week? Nothing really spectacular. Just getting it done.
What are you training for? Date? Local 10K March 8th, Bay Ridge Half NY 10/3
Training plan for the week? CF 3-4x Run 4+ miles (I do whatever I feel that day with regards to mileage) 1-2x
Any vents or issues? I am supposed to go to the Fit Expo in LA with a friend but she bailed so I may end up going alone if my sister can't make it. I may drag my teen with me. Those things are no fun going alone.
Highlights or AW 's from the past week? I made it to CF this morning because I had a meeting in town a little later that morning. Rather than go to work 30mins away, come back for the meeting, and then go back to work I decided to just go in late. Usually today is my off day and I don't workout in the morning due to my work schedule.
I'm jealous of your new treadmill. I desperately want a replacement.
Ours died, so it was an unplanned expense and a bit stressful with being in upstate NY in January without cold running gear; but it is a beautiful thing to have. Hope you can manage one soon!

The winter is really getting me down. I can't wait until the days start to get a little longer. By the time I get to running, its dark and usually below freezing, so I am afraid of slipping on ice and injuring myself.

Well that sucks, sorry I was celebrating in your misfortune
I think mine just needs to be tuned up, there's no new treadmill in my future. I'm pushing for a rowing machine, first
Training plan for the week? M- 6 miles ( 3 x 1600) & yoga T: strength W: 3 mile hill workout & yoga Th: rest F: 6 miles & yoga S: 2 miles & yoga Su: 7 mile race
Any vents or issues? none
Highlights or AW 's from the past week? I ran 11 miles on Friday and 7 miles on Saturday, and my legs didn't fall off. I haven't done anything like that since marathon training.
I'm not officially in until my next cycle starts (just in case!), but I guess I should start checking in for marathon training!
What are you training for? Date? I landed on the Surfer's Path Marathon in Santa Cruz, 5/17
Training plan for the week? I just synced the HH Novice 1 plan to my Google calendar. It has only 4 run days - 3, 4, 3, and 5. That seems so low! I'm already scheduled to do a 12-mile trail run with a huge group on Saturday, so obviously not sticking to plan.
Any vents or issues? Just curious, do you all think I need to stick this closely to the plan? Or should I have looked at Novice 2 or something instead? I won't do more miles every weekend, but I thought 5 this weekend was weird. Good thing is that even if I do Ragnar, this new marathon won't be an issue. I'd be at 18 miles that weekend, so I'll still have my solid 20 miler to come.
Highlights or AW 's from the past week? I'm so excited, now that I've decided to do this! We scoped out hotels and will make it a family weekend away.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
