Recommend your fridge and washer dryer

We have to buy a fridge and washer dryer when we move in to our new house.  For a fridge I want a stainless steel (to match the rest of the appliances) bottom freezer model.  I'm open to anything for washer and dryer.  Suggestions?

Can't help you with the fridge, but for our w/d we went with Samsung. The don't make our models anymore (we purchased them a year or two ago), but these are pretty similar:

We love them. We use less detergent and water now, and they can easily handle large comforters and blankets.

This.  We have a different model than Juno, but we love ours.


We have Electrolux front loader, stackable (or not if you wish ) w&d, and are really happy with them.

I would do LG or Samsung for each of those appliances. Stay away from GE. GE sucks.

I was going to say Samsung for both. We have a new Samsung washer/dryer that is great - and it sings at us when it's done instead of beeping - only pleasant part of laundry EVER.  The washer is a top loader with a glass lid and and the dryer is a side loader - I am done with front loader washers b/c they can't handle our wicked huge loads of laundry and crap our faster.

As for fridge, I love the models with the freezer on the bottom and no water in the door. I also want counter depth - this is the one I have my eye on, but we haven't bought it yet since we're still waiting to buy anything for the kitchen until we put our gutted bathroom back together.

I have an LG washer that is about 2 yrs old, no problems so far. My fridge is not a bottom freezer model but it is kitchenaid. Fridge is about 5 yrs old and I haven't had any problems with that either. Both were in the house when we purchased it.
