I got an automated call this morning from Amex since they noticed suspicious activity on my account. I called them back and sure enough, it seems as though someone stole my account number.
I have always loved Amex for their customer service, but this just makes me love them all the more. :heart:
Are there other companies out there that you've had similar, positive experiences with?

I had Chase contact me last week because of suspicious activity too - someone tried to use my card to buy stuff from an online bridal store but luckily it got rejected. It's a card I don't use very often but had actually used the night before. I was pleased with the way they handled it and the transition to the new account was seamless.
Chase sent me an email and called me right away, unfortunately my dumbass never updated my phone number so the number they called was invalid, but I did get the email and called them (and updated my #).
Nice! I actually thought about the phone number thing - I am glad that they had the correct one for me, but they did also send an email. It's always nice to know that there are companies out there that act on behalf of their customers.
