Since yesterday afternoon DD (18 months) has had 4 bouts of yellow diarrhea blowouts. I googled (I know I know) and it's indicative of a stomach infection. Calling the pedi tomorrow to see what she advises other than BRAT diet, but wondering if anyone's LO has had this?
DS2 has had this a few times. Never blow outs like up the shirt kind, just a yellowy diarrhea. Crap I never even thought to be worried about it... He just has them occasionally though, not several in a row.
We are going through the same thing. It's like a mustard yellow watery nasty diaper. Usually a blowout. Because it's so liquidy I think. Pedi told me to stop formula/dairy. Start pedialyte so he doesn't dehydrate. Brat diet and call if he gets a fever of 102 or higher. Hang in there. Ours is just about gone on day 5...
DS has had that a couple of times. It usually comes with one puke incident as well. I kept him hydrated, followed the BRAT diet and kept an eye on his fever. It's always ended up being no big deal, no fun, but nothing serious. I hope your LO is feeling better soon.

DS had that a year ago, at about 10 months. It lasted about a week. Pedi said BRAT diet, nurse as often as he wanted, and treat the fever if needed. He was pretty sad, and it was intense the first few days. But after about a week, he was himself again.
DS2 had that last year. He doesn't eat by mouth so we just added probiotics to his formula and gave pediasure between tube feelings. He didn't have a fever and acted fine except for the diapers.
