Hi All. I hope you all are doing well and starting to feel the benefits of the challenge. I am definitely feeling a greater sense of control (at least in the kitchen!). This week our challenge is to clean out and organize our frigs and freezers, including auxiliary ones you may have. Here is the link:
Also, if you are a bit behind (I am still working on my kitchen drawers) the next three weeks are less labor intense (recipes, recycling, coupons), so you will have time to catch up. I think I will post pictures once we finish all the kitchen challenges. Please share any tips you have or accomplishment photos.
Yeah, I kind of fell off the wagon this week. Been busy car shopping since last weekend. Also haven't been sleeping well and tired all week; H has failed to step up and help either, so the kitchen is a wreck. I started to clean last night but said forget it. He's out of town tonight, so I'll clean then treat myself to dinner for one.
The only thing I'm ahead on is our tax return! It's almost done!! Might even be done; I'm waiting to make sure nothing else pops up that I've forgotten.
Current To Do List:
Clean the kitchen, ugh Clean and organize the freezer (omg, and I shopped at Costoc last night, it's PACKED) Find a recipe to try in the crockpot tomorrow Test the runners I got for under the nook table Replace furnace filter (bought last night) Replace two lightbulbs on front steps (bought last night) Build kitchen drawer organizer from those plans (bought the wood and caulk last weekend) Get a new knife block or hang a magnetic one on the wall Find a rack for cutting boards on the counter (the one I ordered takes up too much counter space)

Love these threads! I haven't had time to do everything but even the little bits I have done are so gratifying! I just cleaned off the front of my fridge and I found 2 checks from Xmas to deposit (oops!) and it looks so much better!
Our fridge is pretty organized but I HATE our freezer so much. We have a top fridge bottom freezer, so the freezer is just one giant drawer. There is no way to organize it. Everything is always a mess and it drives me nuts. We can't find anything. I have no idea what I'm going to do if I end up freezing breastmilk, there is no space! Any suggestions for how to divide up the drawer? The freeze baskets on Amazon don't fit because the drawer is tapered in weird ways.

Can you put it in bags and freeze it flat? I've done this with other liquids but don't know if plastic bags will affect breast milk or not but it might be worth it to find out.
