I'd have the center diamonds line up all the way across & the for the bottom diamonds in the long panel...make those the same distance from bottom as top diamonds are from top of panel. GWIM? So different proportion from how you drew them (equal).
Sorry I meant centered vertically. So definitely not B for me. And I can't tell from the drawings, are your diamonds bigger or smaller than the ones on the first pic?

Got it. The diamonds on A. And B. are very close to the foyer size. A little bit smaller. I can't do exact because I have to divide by a whole # of divisions and use whatever it comes out to.
Perfect. (IMO ) I will take very close. It probably is better that they are a bit smaller since you don't have as wide panels as the foyer ones. Basically what nursecramer said about scaling.
Well if you have pretty dishes to show off.. of course plain glass! Let laziness win! LOL! Should you change your mind you can always put a background of paper or fabric behind the glass. Or even mirror looking spray thing that the bloggers use. Yeah I am an expert at naming things. NOT! KWIM?

I think I understand. I'm not sold on lining them up. It might look a little too...regimented or something. I don't know what word I'm looking for. But I'll draw that out and squint at it.
Ha, I asked my H & he said B&D but agreed that absolutely the diamonds need to line up...lol. He said you need to draw the entire elevation out. If you aren't lining up, I change my vote to A & D. I think otherwise it's too close to being lined up yet isn't that it looks like a mistake. We are just anal enough that it would bug but you might be more relaxed. .
I like A & D since the single row of diamonds is consistent with what you have elsewhere in the house. And I would go with clear or wavy glass. I think the pebble obscures the contents too much (unless that is what you want to do.)
How wide are each of the vertical stripes on the existing cabinets and windows? And how wide are the divisions you have drawn out?
I lean towards A&D based on the picture you drew out (keeping 3 divisions on each), but I worry that it's going to be much smaller divisions since the cabinets don't look as wide. I'd rather have A&C and have it closer to the dimensions of the other leaded glass in the house.
Also, I vote wavy or plain, in that order. I prefer wavy, but plain would look lovely. I don't like the other glass textures or colors anyway, so I certainly wouldn't pay for it and get new materials to do it.
I saw cabinets with a similar design in a movie this morning. They had the design more toward the lower part of the door, so that it wasn't centered. I really liked the look. It seemed very balanced to have the visual weight lower.
I have seen that design long ago on a barrister bookcase (aka lawyer bookcase) and fell in love. I can't afford that darn thing. It's extremely rare to find them at a steal and I am not going to pay what they are going for on eBay. I keep looking on CL though every now and then for a youngin who doesn't know what it is. LOL!
Each shelf is removable so you can have as different levels and the glass keeps all the books covered so no dusting required. Sigh. I love that thing.
Thanks @juno! I just looked on my CL.. nada. It's on my list though. :)Depending on how many shelves, condition and the maker they can get upto $2000 or more asking price. IDK what they really sell for on eBay though.

I've seen that before (there are 5 or 6 variations of this pattern in homes around here). Would you mix and match with my existing centered ones?
I would. I think there is merit in repeating patterns, but when it is super matchy it can seem a bit much to me. I think it is much more interesting when there are variations on a pattern throughout a house then when it all looks the same.
