So what did you think of the SB commercials?

Not a good night for those who have lost a child/are dealing with IF. One commercial about a dead child and several about being a dad. Yikes!

I always love the clydesdale commercials. I also liked the avocado first draft ever one.

They were so sad!! Plus my dad passed away recently-ish, so it was sensitive for me (especially when it showed them at the wedding).

I'm glad they did the PSA for DV (the pizza/911 commercial), but it still brought down the mood.

Sort of brutal all around if you ask me.

I did like the Doritos commercial where the guy saved the seat for the pretty girl on the plane, then turned out she had a baby.

So many downer commercials! There were more funny ones during the second half, but I was disappointed overall.

Yes, what happened to the wild and hilarious commercials? I get that the NFL was trying to PR their way out of the DV crap....but come on. I need some laughs!

I swear every other commercial made me cry. And all the dad ones made my husband tear up too. I did like the avocado one and the BMW one with Katie Couric/Bryant Gumbel.

The puppy one made me tear up. So cute!

That Nationwide one with the preventable accidents was super depressing. Not to mention the rest. So many sad or serious commercials, not enough funny ones!

Our satellite dish went out It's still out, because there's no way we're climbing up onto the roof to clear the mound of snow around it.

But my favorite of the ones I looked up was the Budweiser puppy one. It made me cry the first time I watched it, thinking of that poor puppy about to be gobbled up. Then I went down the youtube path of looking up the old Budweiser commercials.

There were a few I liked, like the breaking bad one, Brady bunch one, and Liam neeson one.  But yeah, all the parenting commercials sucked as someone who is struggling with TTC.

I've only heard about these commercials, I didn't watch the SB, lol. Neither myself or hubs are sports people, although I did see the Lilo car insurance commercial. I understand their concept,even Lilo can get car insurance, but it seemed like she was trying to kidnap a kid.

They definitely were not as funny as some years. Ones I enjoyed were Liam, Doritos, Brady Bunch!

The nationwide commercial made me so mad bc it was so terrible and insensitive. I liked the Katie Couric one but didn't really watch very closely so there may have been other decent ones but overall I was unimpressed.

Best commercial: esurance's Walter White commercial. "Say my name." "...sorta Greg?"

Of the ones I saw I felt they where just a bit on the depressing side.

The McDonald's commercial made me cry. Something about all of the families hugging and saying I love you.

I didn't like either of the dad commercials. The Nissan one or the Toyota one. I guess I have a heart of stone. The Nationwide commercial was a serious WTF, really? What a downer.

I didn't see too many of the commercials because a certain someone screamed through most of the Super Bowl. But I did see the halftime show. I wasn't expecting to like Katy Perry, but it wasn't bad. I loved the sharks.
