Packing!

Yeppers!  DH is cleared to leave Korea, and we are good to go. Tickets in hand, and departure is <24 hours away.

Better yet, it's with my preferred airline, so we should be able to get lounge access before boarding and during our layover!

One more sleep, and then we leave. Whoo-hoo!

(I also posted on MF, because, as I posted there, you guys have all heard me whining about being stuck here...)

It's been lodging on base, so kinda like a hotel room, but the rate is relatively affordable. At least.

I find it mind-boggling, but from experience I've learned that attempting to apply logic to the military just gives me a headache. I'm just glad to finally get out of here.

Woohoo! I'm glad your month in base lodging is coming to an end.

We have foolishly acquired a few things since arriving at lodging, so now we're having the fun of packing, then weighing, each of our checked bags. We each get 2 up to 50lbs. We _can_ take more, but would have to file for reimbursement of any baggage fees incurred. And I don't want to manhandle more than 2 suitcases each...

It's going to be close! But, I think we'll make it. We might sacrifice things like the shaving cream for DH and the conditioner for me (those should be pretty easy to acquire once we're in the US with a rental car...).

And, packing is pretty much done. There are the last few bits (like the socks still drying) that will have to wait until morning, but otherwise, we're ready to get this show on the road.
