24 weeks and my legs are itchy

Ugh! I never had this with two DDs. Wtf? Its annoying. There are a few red spots where its itchy, but I'm not sure if they I were there originally or they came from the scratching. I will mention it to the doc at my appointment next week, but will call before that if it gets worse. Anyone else have itching? Was it anything serious?

I itched all over and assumed it was because my skin was stretching. It came and went. Lotion helped a lot of the time.

I was insanely itchy from about 6 months on. Most of the itching was on my legs, but other parts of me (torso, arms) itched from time to time as well. I didn't have any visible rash or anything, and the tests for the liver issue that sometimes pops up in pregnancy (which I cannot spell) and can cause itching came back negative. My doctor said she expected that, as the itching with that condition typically happens on the palms/soles of the feet, but tested to be safe.

It went away after DD was born.

I had the exact same experience.

Loose clothing, cool baths, and lotion all helped somewhat. Benadryl helped me the most, but I think that was more because it made me pass out

I ended up having cholestasis (sp?) which is when you get itchy palms and feet. If it's just your legs I would assume it is your skin stretching. My ob recommended this lotion called Sarna-it helped.
