Thursday looks like snow, but Friday just looks frigid. Hopefully that will be good news for you Rock.
Our roof looks great, but you can't see DH's little red car under all the snow.
DD's school is canceled. DH's company will probably be douchey and be a maybe about him working from home. But he can't do it more than one day, which I think is stupid.
I feel bad for our babysitters, who haven't been paid for a full week since January. But I sent one home with beer on Friday.
We've been cancelled for tomorrow so I don't need to worry about staying up too late watching the Grammys. We have some serious ice dams going on on our roof which makes me nervous and no idea how we can do anything about it.
This weather is ridiculous. My commute to and from work is treacherous since the roads are barely touched by the plows when I leave my house. I saw at least half a dozen cars on the side of the road from accidents/spinning out this morning. Driving in California for most of my life did not prepare me for this at all.
My work is also closed for tomorrow. Like elfinia, I also have some serious ice dams. We bought a roof rake but its not helping. I'm definitely concerned and hope all looks OK up in my attic.
We decided to abandon the idea of keeping the entire driveway clear of snow. Now we are just shoveling from the side door forward to the street (about two car lengths) and foregoing the back half of the driveway (another two car lengths) to the garage.
I was told to WFH tomorrow but I am supposed to fly to Texas 6am Tuesday for work and come back Friday. I am secretly hoping I can't get out and the trip has to be cancelled.

A bunch of folks at our work are supposed to go to TX today/tonight/tomorrow. I don't think they're going to make it.

Oh RockNVoll I hope you get in without issue. I'm kind of hoping for no school on Thursday. D has to go to Cranston and I don't want to walk the mile and a half to and from getting Lucas at school.
School's closed today but haven't heard anything about tomorrow yet. We're actually headed out to legoland. We're getting stir crazy here so D agreed to drop us off and pick us up after work.

I commuted in just fine today. A bit slow but still got in here in one piece. Our newly hired receptionist even made it in, I like this girl already, last year our front desk girls were so whiny about 2 inches of snow.
DH is home dealing with ice dams and leaking skylights.
yikes boston sounds like all hell is breaking loose. The T is not running tomorrow and the governor declared a state of emergency. I think folks have had enough.
Today is a normal telework day for me, but DH & the boys are all home. Working from home with 2 small boys sucks...
I liked this, not because I "like" it, but I feel your pain. My 4 year old was also home today. At one point he gathered all of this balls and threw them at me. Fun times...
Also, I'm out of activities for him to do while home. I might need a vacation after all of these snow days.
Oh boy, the weather is insane! I'm in FL, managed to get out on Sat just in time. We're flying back Sat and I hope we can get back okay, although I don't think we'll be able to get I to our house. Sigh. I'm loving the FL weather! Perfect temps, I took a nap on the deck yesterday. My parents keep telling us to move here and It is really hard to come up with reasons why we won't...
Welp the T is shut down tomorrow, so I guess Im working from home again. Looks like over a foot Thursday night and then a potentially even bigger storm Sunday. Is it the end of days? Because this is insanity!
Yep I just told H that there was no way he was making it to his meeting in Davis square tomorrow.
My office is still closed (Downtown with no MBTA) but DH has a 2 hour delay. We have an appointment in Manchester, NH this morning, so everyone is chilling at home and I have French toast casserole in the oven Its going to be weird once a "normal" schedule starts again...

This is insanity!! I'm so tired of trudging to work in the snow.
The closed my campus again with limited facilities open. Hopefully because the T is shit down they can actually get all the snow/ice cleared so it won't be such a mess tomorrow.

The school district I live in just cancelled school the rest of the week due to the fear of roofs collapsing. I'm pretty sure there may be an internet brawl on a facebook page about potentially losing vacation and how to make up the days. Too bad I'll be too busy today working to watch this. I'll have to read it tonight before bed, should make for some good drama.

I saw a clip of a roof collapsing on a HUGE building in Taunton on the news last night. That is some scary, scary stuff. Do they really want their children to be trapped in something like that? I get that it sucks....but I feel like the safety of the kids should be first.
They are talking about Saturday school and potentially cancelling April vacation.

My husband and I are trying to decide if the baby will show up before we can get to our grill. We made the foolish mistake of not cleaning off the back stairs after the first storm, and now? Well, I just hope that if there's a fire it's in the back of our house, because I don't know how we'd get out otherwise. (Though he did just say he was thinking about going out one of the porch windows to try and clean it out, but he's afraid that the snow will be too deep for him to move. I suggested that ship may have sailed.)

They weren't necessarily complaining about not having school this week. Well some were and I can see their point that they have to work and don't have anywhere to put the kids now. But a lot were bitching about vacations and Saturday makeups and how it didn't work for them. I feel like saying the superintendent will make the decision and let everyone know and let you know as well stop freaking out about it.

I'm losing my fricking mind. They've been home all week and now have next week off for break. We were supposed to go to FL next week but cancelled because of L's broken arm and the fact he can't go swimming. So now I'm stuck with them home for 2 weeks straight. My house is a disaster area and the people at legoland now recognize me.

:::: hugs :::: I'm sorry. I can't even imagine. I was going INSANE after that last storm.
