I grabbed a squirt bottle and told La Doof kitton if he tried to eat my hair one more time, I would drown him with it. (he quit eating my hair...he stole my glasses off the bedside table and hid them under the dresser. wee bastard ) Then I shook it at Dawg, made her go into a 'down-stay' on her bed and told her she did NOT need to go out, she would, and I quote "YOU WILL LAY THERE AND YOU WILL LIKE IT"
And she did. Well, she kinda did. After the glasses debacle, I locked La Doof Kitton out of the room. When I was out of bed doing that, part of my blanket fell on the floor...Dawg curled up on it and refused to move...and she was being quiet and quit pacing so I decided it was worth the sacrifice not to make her move.
I swear, some sort of night deamon has invaded my house recently--none of the pets will let us sleep.
Mine go through spurts like that-if its not Eddie doing his "I'm laying on the bed, now I'm jumping down to walk out in the living room, oops now I'm back again to jump on the bed, no wait I do want to go in the living room" routine it's Georgie's "I want to lay right where you are so I'm going to whine in your ear until you sit up thinking I need to go potty therefore giving me the opportunity to jump on the bed and snuggle into your warm pillow" routine. Kills me.

Maybe it's the moon phase or something. Last night Cat decided that 3am was the perfect time to lay on my pillow and clean his paws. With complimentary licking of the pillowcase, right next to my ear. I physically had to put my hand between his paws and his mouth to get him to stop.
Normally he's a VERY sound sleeper. A pillow hog, but otherwise completely immobile at night.
