I had planned on heart-shaped pancakes, but I didn't find a metal cookie cutter, so I think I'm going to try these strawberry nutella poptarts. Heart-shaped grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for lunch, and heart-shaped calzones for dinner. I'd like to do a special dessert, but not sure what.
DS just had his tonsils and adenoids out yesterday so not too many things. Most likely heart-shaped Jell-o.
And you don't necessarily have a cookie cutter for the pancakes. They won't be perfect, but you could use a spoon to put lay the batter in a heart shape in the pan. Just keep in mind they puff up a bit when cooking. I've done it that way before - just need a practice one first. lol
We're doing the pancakes, and making them pink. I only have a plastic cookie cutter, so I'll just cut them after they're made and DH and I will eat the scraps. I'll buy a heart shaped dessert. I was hoping DD would ask for pizza because Papa Murphy's does heart shaped ones, but she requested the pancakes for dinner.

CFA is having a stuffed animal sleepover tonight, so we're taking the kids for dinner, then they pick up their stuffed animal in the morning and get breakfast so that's taken care of. Lunch will be whatever and dinner will be heart shaped pizza. have leftover heart cakepops, I was in charge of the sweet for dd2s party, so they'll be dessert
Heart shaped pancakes in the morning and brownies with pink frosting and sprinkles for after dinner. I love the heart shaped grilled cheese idea- stealing it! :-)
Reading this thread at first made me want to run to Michael's and grab a heart shaped cookie cutter, but then I saw that I could get a heart shaped donut instead. So I'm doing that.
We are going to get our taxes done in the morning and then DS1 has a birthday party in the afternoon. We will probably get pizza for lunch and stop at Barnes and Noble in between. He is getting enough sugar between his class party and the bday tomorrow though.
I also sent my kids to school with store-bought Valentines.
Don't worry, I'll just call CPS on myself.
You should probably call them on me too. I got him a card and a box of TMNT candy. Other than that, we're sticking to our normal Saturday routine and then dropping him off at Parent's Night Out at the church so we can go furniture shopping and run errands. We're not going anywhere near restaurants or date places.
