I'm off all week and its much needed. By Thursday my students and I were all ready to not see each other for a whole week. I've got a meeting with my credential advisor today but other than that just cleaning the house and waiting to hear the final word about that job Dh interviewed for. He is the top of 3 candidates and if all goes well with references he should get a formal offer this week!

We are having a snow day. Just fed the kids lunch and put them down for a nap. Hopefully they sleep for a while, as I'd like to nap too!

I just got home late last night from spending a few weeks out at JBLM going through IVF #2. Everything went really really well. We transferred 2 beautiful embryos and had 2 to freeze for the future. Now we wait and see if it took. We'll know next week. I'm trying to stay positive and hopeful.

I have class tonight. I am thinking of taking a nap before then, but I also have a ton of reading to do. My boss told me not to bother coming in to work today because of the snow, so that was a nice little break in the middle of the week.

Fingers crossed for everyone!!

We just got back from a two week vacation and it was amazing. It was our last big trip before we PCS from here and was ended with a free upgrade to first class on the red eye flight home. Score!! We asked for an exit row and the rep said "Oh, I have a good seat for you!"

Then....When we got back, M rushed to check his e-mail because we were expecting his RFO and BOOM! First choice!! We're thrilled and can't wait to leave!

Not much is going on.

I can't wait for this semester to be over. I'm interning at an elementary school, and I'm hating every second. The kids are effing cute as hell, but I don't fit in there. I found out that I could have gone back to my high school internship. I was told I had to do primary and secondary internships to get my k12 certification. That was bullshit. So I'm annoyed.

My comprehensive exams are March 7, so I'm just trying to make it until then.

We found out on Friday my dad's casino will be closing in a few months. My mom is in a panic, and I'm upset and worried. So, some job dust for my dad would be appreciated. He's a 58 y/o bartender, so it can be tough in this town for him.

P and I have decided to separate. It's best for both of us. Everything else is ok. I have been working like crazy. With everything going on I am going to get my shit together and finish school. I'm done procrastinating. It has to be done.

As for me?! I had a baby yesterday! Healthy baby Nora was born at 804am via c section. She is beautiful of course and H and I are totally in love. She already has h wrapped around her finger

killercupcake is this your last placement? If so yay! I never did an elem school placement but I did do high and middle school before I was community based.

H's second choice for his next assignment is in Florida. It's a swing state so I could make that work by registering to vote!

I've got a lot going on in life in general right now. DH and I bought a house last week since we're going to be here a while thanks to me and my rate. Financially it made sense. So I'm working on moving today. They sent DH TAD to a program that will make him a paramedic so he's in school today. I also have to be at the hospital at 1100 for honor guard stuff as of right now but that could end up being cancelled.

Sorry if I missed anyone's important life happenings.

I am surrounded by snow! For the first time in 6 years. It's fun but also taking some getting used to- I got spoiled by all of those years in Florida.

I am still working on getting the house put together after our PCS. Unfortunately, my H's schedule is insane so he isn't really any help. I'm having to do the bulk of the baby and dog care because he is gone before we're up in the morning, and doesn't get home until I'm getting ready for bed. I only have to survive this scheduling through December, so hopefully I can do that without issue. I am keeping in mind it could be worse.

We're in the final stages of our move and I'm waiting for the little to wake up from nap so I can go meet DH at the car storage place. I can't wait to get to the easy part. Choosing a house to live in.

Yes. This is my final semester. It's only 200 hours and I'm only at the site 2 days a week. So I don't have to be there often, but it's still pretty soul sucking. I realized today that despite the fact that I had to get up at 5 am to get to the high school 4 days a week, I didn't mind. I was tired, but never was burdened. Getting up 2 hours later isn't worth it to me. lol

Thanks. He put in an application downtown. It'll definitely be less pay, but it's better than nothing.
