Day 2

Today is my moms bday and I am taking her out to brunch, I think brunch is safe and I can make good decisions. Tonight we will have cake and champagne at our house and its easy for me to not have cake, I will also have a fruit salad out. I'm in CA and today its cold, but I cannot whine, I know its nothing compared to many parts of the country, we are in the 60's.

Day 12. Food is fine, the rest of me is not. Nasty cold and now conjunctivitis in both eyes. I didn't get it from my son, so now I'm terrified of giving it to him. It's cold, and miserable and DH isn't home tonight. I just want to sleep for 4 days.
