This move and carrying the house still has completely depleted our savings. And we're honestly living paycheck to paycheck and getting evee close each month.

BUT

Our house is now rented and after a shaky moving in process, we should have full rent payment for September. And we no longer have to pay for gas and electricity for the house.

We are refinancing the house and will save on our payment, and get to skip a payment.

L just moved up to the 3yr old room and her tuition dropped $45/mo.

zomg. I can't wait for September to get here so we can start rebuilding.

and I'm still waiting to hear on the positions I applied for that would give me a nearly 30% raise in pay. pleasepleaseplease let one of those positions work out.

I totally understand the feeling about "just have to make it a few more months," and it sounds like things are finally going to give you a little breathing room. Moving is really freaking expensive, no matter how you end up doing it, so that is great that things are turning around!
