I would like to purchase nude shoes for the spring/summer. I have an extensive collection of work appropriate dresses and don't have nude shoes at all.
At first I was thinking like a nude pump, but I also want to wear them for this derby party event I need to go to for work. It involves me standing for at least 5 hours and me and standing in heels for that long do not always get along. So then I thought maybe wedges.
Every pair of Chinese Laundry shoes I've ever tried on has made me want to die. They are shoes made for 100 pound teenagers who are too drunk to notice the pain.

Ok, good point.
I actually have the same shoes as the first pair but in a red leather that I wear with black dresses and skirts at work and they are pretty comfortable. It looks like they are available at my local DSW so I will go in and check in person. Also I'm cheap and don't want to spend more than $50 on shoes.
Wedges! And ditto, important to see them in person. I bought a pair of peep toe nude wedges last year (love them) and they look pink online but disappear into my legs in person.
I appreciate your help, but those are a)way too tall and b) are at least 4x what I plan to spend on these shoes.
I have espradrilles and wedges like that with cork. I'm specifically looking for nude though. And nothing with a cork or woven platform, I have two other pairs like that.
Thx @litteduck. Those are super cute but I'm looking for closed toe since its for work and I plan to wear the shoes with other dresses at work. I can only wear strappy sandals like that for a few months out of the year in my climate.
I like the wedges better than the pumps you posted, something about the shape/height of the heel looks a little more matronly than the wedge. But I have never tried that brand before, so I can't comment on comfort.

I found the Payless Comfort Plus pumps to be surprisingly comfortable. I was a SAHM for four years and wore heels very rarely during that time (and honestly, didn't really wear them at the job I had before I SAH). When I returned to work I decided I was going to start dressing like an adult, including heels. I wear them all the time and my feet don't hate me at all.
