I'm planning to start W30 on March 1 and have some questions. wambam I think you have some GI/ digestive issues too? I can't handle a lot of raw fruits and veggies with my colitis. I'm hoping that I'll be able to identify triggers and calm things down over the 30 days, but do you have any tips for getting in sufficient fruits and veggies without irritating the colon too much? Or am I going to be experiencing sufficient "activity" that it won't even matter? Just eat cooked veggies? i guess I'm basically looking for tips from people with colitis or similar issues.
I do have some digestive difficulties. I generally can't eat leafy vegetables or raw vegetables. If you do okay with cooked veggies you'll be fine for W30. Cook everything really well and pay attention to how each food affects you. There's really no reason you have to eat raw vegetables.
Yeah I've been wondering about nuts. I love the saltiness of roasted salted nuts, but I sometimes have trouble with them. I also have trouble with portion control with them, so I think I'm going to avoid them. I also need to research which ones are truly legumes Basically better if I stay away from all of them for the month!

Peanuts are legumes. I don't think any other nuts fall into that category.
