My aunt offered to take our daughter over night on March 7th. She'll likely want to pick her up on Saturday morning and will keep her most of the day on Sunday. Usually when she offers to take her, it's super last minute and I never have the chance to plan anything.
I am willing to drive 3 hours in any direction. Any ideas on where we could go? I'd like to keep the hotel room under $300 for the night. Other than that, I am not too concerned with budget.

Sorry posted and ran. Not looking for anything specific. No skiing/boarding. Husband doesn't do either so that might not be much fun for him. I would like to be at a hotel with a decent spa, close to a walkable downtown area (think Portland, ME) but doesn't have to be there.

I think I answered my own question. I think I am going to book the regency in downtown Portland. There's a spa, breweries, totally walkable area, tons of delicious restaurants. Thanks guys!

We had an AWESOME time at the Regency. I love their little library bar. The spa is nice, too.

We booked a normal room. There was a presidential suite for like triple the price with a fireplace and 'living space.' For the amount of time we'll likely be in the room, probably not worth it. We also have a couples' deep tissue massage in the morning. Depending how much we have to drink the night before, it will either be awesome, or totally suck
