I knew better. I'm not a PB fan but this has been the only rug I have found that goes with my bedding. I really stalled on ordering it but ended up getting it for ~$800 including shipping. Fairly decent "deal." Except it's crap. I've had it about a month and it's already coming unglued in several places... or something. Any clue how PB's customer service is? I guess I'll be calling them Monday.
ETA- can't believe I forgot about this. They also charged me twice for the rug. The rug was $805. The charged my CC $805 on 1/12/15. Then they credited me $778.53 on 1/15/15. Then they charged me $805 the day the rug shipped, 1/26/15. :/ Good reminder, always check your CC statements!!

How frustrating. That's why I'm hesitant to buy a rug online. I hope PB CS will help you out and either give you back a refund or some kind of credit in general.

@juno, that's probably my least favorite part of decorating lol. I've been looking for either the perfect peacock teal or purple rug for awhile (since the Shades of Light one was a fail) and I can't find anything that I like that isn't insanely expensive in the size I need (big, I think I had an 8x10 before and it was a little small for the space but I can't remember what size it was).

yeah, which is why I figured out that rugs will be a big-budget item in my decor. If you want something outside the standard chevron/trellis/flower patterns or in a rare color, it gets pricey. And I'm not paying tons of money for shitty construction, so I finally just bit the bullet and planned for it.
Teal and purple just aren't common rug colors, are they? I almost never see that online or in stores.
Nope! Which is why I have issues. I can find purple trellis, but I'm not entirely sold on it. And I am almost over chevron pattern, so no way am I spending money on a rug in that pattern.

Do you have a dyson? It looks like the damage that a dyson did to some rugs that my ILs had.
One MMer was able to return a PB rug because of shedding. I think something like that is a larger defect and I would think they'd be even more likely to refund you. Not sure if the MMer had to pay return shipping.
I think you could also go with some color (the bedding looks gray/silver?). That PB rug is almost too much of a continuation of your bedding. You could go with a bolder pattern or coordinating color. Do you have any accent colors in there already?
I also was able to return a crappy rug to PB. I think it was a jute rug, and little loops started popping loose almost immediately. They returned it on their dime.
I also wanted to recommend rugsusa.com. I've purchased 4 rugs from them and they have always been great. They have super sales, so you can usually find something that is pretty inexpensive.

I sure do have a Dyson. And a shedding lab :/ I take it I shouldn't use the "carpet" mode. That's no bueno.

Update- PB is sending me a replacement rug once they're back in stock. In May. But if I cannot vacuum this rug with my Dyson I'm not sure I want it at all.
