Ice dams

So if water wS running down the inside of my second story bathroom window today, that's probably the melting from my ice dam, right?

Ugh. I don't even know who to call to fix inspect issues. The trim around the window feels soft - like water got into the wood. I think water was dripping through the soffit under the roof.

I'd start with roofing companies. If I google roofing companies in my town many of the website talk about snow and ice removal.

Call a roofer. If it's bad enough, call the insurance co. You have my sympathy. This winter blows

I just wanted to say that totally blows. When we moved into this house all we had were water problems and it is just the worst. I hope you get it figured out.

So at this point, almost all the ice and snow is off the roof. That is why I was hesitant to call a roofer, especially since my understanding is that they are booking like 4 weeks out at this point. I think I need my window trim replaced inside and outside - do roofers do that?

Also I have amica and one of my neighbors said that they recently called and it sounds like stuff will be covered. I should probably call them...ugh. What a pain in the ass.

I'm sorry. I have a leak from an ice dam but my property manager doesn't even want to deal with the ice on the roof so it's just raining. I can't imaging owning. Big hugs and wine.
