Ugh! I got a stomach but yesterday (day 15) and the only think I could stomach were crackers. So I know this is not a legit Whole 30 but I feel great today and am picking up where I left off. I might extend my Whole 30 but I don't want to throw in the towel because of one obstacle.
B: Eggs with tomatoes, spinach and onions L: Salad with spinach, cucumbers, beets, peppers and chicken. Blueberries D: Chicken "sausage" with spaghetti squash and some other veggies. Broccoli maybe?
Day 23 My weekend was OK. Nothing special, but nothing terrible. Any tips to keeping a 2 year old in their toddler bed? We transitioned him last week and he's been up earlier than normal. There's probably no trick except for patience and follow through. UGH. I hate being back to the old, "It's your turn" "No, it's yours" with DH. I kind of want him to leave for a few days and get out of my way.
Nothing exciting on the menu this week. Just our favorites from the last few weeks. My favorite recipe is a sweet potato sausage skillet that I loved pre W30 that I updated to be compliant. Mostly we've been keeping it simple with our meals.

We put a gate in front of her door (and left door open w/ the hall light on b/c she said she was afraid and I felt bad). I threatened to close the door if she tried to climb over the gate (MOTY). There were tears for 1-2 nights and she's been very good ever since. We eventually quit putting the gate up.

Post W30 but trying to be more W30 and less Paleo treats.
I JOINED CROSSFIT AGAIN TODAY! <) I start tonight. I'm SO excited and I'm going to be SO sore. I did it for 6 months or so back in 2013 but then I got pregnant w/ DD2 and quit. She'll be 10 mo old this week so it's definitely time to quit making excuses.
I can't wait to see my results between W30/Paleo and regular CF. I just took my "before" pics.
We grocery shopped and meal prepped over the weekend.
B: HB eggs and iced coffee w/ half&half L: White chicken chili topped w/ diced avocado D: Probably carnitas b/c they're quick to reheat. Maybe apple juice glazed pork chops w/ a veg.
I have no idea how to eat tonight around working out. wambam? It's from 6-7 so I think I need to figure out a pre-WO snack and then just have dinner afterwards. I'll throw up if I eat too heavily before.

I workout at 5:30. I usually eat a preWO snack around 4-4:30 and then dinner after working out.
The official W30 party line is to eat protein and fat preWO but I whole heartedly HATE this idea. Like, active disdain for this line of thought lol.
Nothing exciting this weekend, I went to a party at a pizza buffet place with my son and it was so easy cause the food is just not good. I got salad and a baked potato. This week I am feeling so uninspired. My husband who is not doing W3 did not like the butternut squash I made and said he prefers real noodles instead of zoodles. I'll make meat sauce this week and chicken but other than that I'm clueless on what we'll have for dinner.

Tell me more. If not a protein and a fat, what combo should I shoot for before and after WO?

The official W30 party line is protein and fat for preWO, protein and carbs for postWO.
DISCLAIMER: I am relatively lean and do very high intensity workouts.
I usually eat carbs preWO like a banana and then protein and carbs postWO. The thought of eating protein and fat preWO is absolutely vile to me. It would sit in my stomach like an absolute rock.
