My first was Go Gos (with opener INXS) in 1982.
My most recent concert was Duran Duran in 2012.
The worst? Crowded House. I love them, I do. But they came on stage 3 hours late and this was back in my working days. Coming on stage at midnight was unacceptable for this granny. It was at House of Blues, so we had been standing since 7. By the time they came on I needed to sit.

Oh, nice! My friend saw Beastie Boys open for Madonna back in maybe 1985. She was like "these guys just ran around in overalls and yelled". Little did we know how obsessed we would become with them.

Crowded house is one of my all time favorites! We are a rare breed! I'm sorry you had a bad experience

Wait, cjcouple!!! Why were they assholes? They are (except for Duran Duran) my all time favorite. My one chance to see them didn't work (sob…I still have the ticket). Why did you not like them?

I saw Crowded House too back in the day. I was absolutely in love with them, and was crushed when the drummer died, he was my favourite.

It's always the drummer. Why are they the ones to die?
First - nkotb. Then a week later I was over it lol.
Worst - not at all the band's fault, but radiohead at red rocks. Love the band, but the venue was way oversold and there was literally no where to sit. We'd try to sit off to the side then security would come tell us we had to move. Spent the entire show doing this. Omg I just remembered another time the venue sold me seats that did not exist! I can't remember which show, I think it might have been depeche mode (my all time favorite forever). I know I bought pre sale seats, and it was like they decided to configure the seating different after the fact. I don't go to many shows for these reasons. Only the really awesome ones.
Last concert - I think it was nine inch nails at red rocks last year. 10th row, they didn't screw up the seats that time mmmm Trent

Also saw both Radiohead and Depeche Mode - two of my absolute favourite.concerts.ever.
Last: a Marley & NOFX (yes, it was a bizarre combo) when I was pregnant with W.
Worst: the what's new pussy cat guy. Tom something? It was creepy because he was trying to be sexy, but he's super old. And I"got" to go back stage. He did have a cute band member though

First: Backstreet Boys (I know, I know) Last: Dierks Bentley at the county fair Best: either Weezer or when I took my dad to see Tom Petty to make up for having to sit through the backstreet boys Linkin Park and Our Lady Peace put on a good show Worst: Sugar Ray but they were still ok. Moderately washed up though.

First: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch Last: Oh my, it's been so long. Bright Eyes in 2010? sheesh. Best: Tie between free Radiohead tickets in Grant Park or the time I got put in the front row at a great Wilco show. Worst: I had a very bad experience at a Phish show in college.

My first concert was the Go Go's with INXS, too! I would swear it was the summer between 8th and 9th grade so that would make it 1983 for me. Where did you see them?
1st was Michael Bolton (OMG) I can't remember the last concert I went to I mean, we saw Tom Chapin who is one of my fav kid song singers? Going to see Billy Joel in 2.5 weeks Worst....maybe Fiona Apple? Anyone even remember her?

First-Debbie Gibson somewhere around 1988 maybe. Last -a reggae festival about 2 weeks before DS1 was born.
Worst -Neil Diamond. My parents had 2 extra seats to a concert at Madison Square Garden when I was a teenager and they made me and my sister go. I still don't like him to this day.
