Today we're headed to the in-laws' for dinner. I really hope MIL is making lasagna! I was browsing on the Kohls' website and found this top, which I really want for some reason. I'm going to be 29 this year...am I too old for it?

The CVS by my house apparently doesn't carry my dry shampoo anymore so it messed up my hair care product deal. Now I'm on a mission to find it in another CVS (luckily they are everywhere here)
I love how being in HR means I am "your own personal concierge" for staff.
"Can you fax this for me?"
"SO-and-so needs my resume for an award they're nominating me for. Can you get my resume from my personnel folder and scan it to me? tee hee! I don't have one after being employed here for 10+ years! tee hee!"
I'm currently listening to a radio show discussing the blue & black/white & gold dress controversy lol.
I want someone to tell me how they see black on that dress. Personally, I'm in the white and gold camp. I can SEE how someone would say blue and brown....but black? I need someone to explain that to me like I'm 5. I GET the pictures people have posted regarding it being altered using lighting and having it THEN show black. But seeing black right off the bat? Imma need someone to help me see that.

Sounds like fightin' words lol. People get so fired up about this!
I see blue and black, but I keep the brightness on my computer screen very low. Because of this, everything looks a little darker than it otherwise would be. I saw blue for sure, but I couldn't tell if the lace trim was dark brown or black, so I just assumed black.

This makes more sense to me....you've done a good job (white and gold foreva though! LOL)

The lighting is yellow toned, and the fabric seemed to have a slight sheen which was reflecting the yellow light. Black + yellow = brown usually. I was able to look past the lighting and see the true color.
The dress is weird. I originally saw it on my phone as black and blue, but then gold and white on my computer. *shrug*
I ate way too many Cadbury mini eggs today. And I think my washing machine is broken again. Damn it. I'll probably order a new one rather than sink another $95 into it for a service call. My H ordered his (our) treadmill last night so I think it's my turn to buy something shiny, new, and expensive!

Dude, we're like the catch-all for all of the things no one wants to figure out who to talk to about. "I didn't know who to go to, so I figured it was an HR thing!"
