Target is irritating me. I placed an order online a week and a half ago and it's still not here. It was supposed to arrive on Thursday and still no sign of it. The UPS site has no updates.
Then over the weekend I had the rudest cashier. Maybe this is God's way of telling me stay away from Target lol
West Elm is annoying me! I placed an order over a month ago and it was delayed for the third time until March 26th. I think I'm going to just call them and cancel, I'm so fucking annoyed. I've never ordered anything from them before, I'm wondering if this is standard? I don't want to wait two fucking months for my stuff.
I just realized that there's no smoke detector in my kitchen.
are there usually? I think the only time I've had one was in an eat-in kitchen, and it was in the dining "area." I always assumed they don't want a bunch of false alarms from cooking.

I'm cross posting this from the afternoon randoms, because I didn't see this thread.
Wedding stuff keeps getting better (sarcasm).
My cousin (who I do not like) was originally going to get married on some day, whenever. My aunt was all ya I'll go. Now she rescheduled the wedding to the same day as my shower, which is being hosted by that same aunt. So now what the hell do I do? My MOH has already booked her flight for the shower, and there isn't really another time for it. I'm assuming my aunt will want to go to the shower (along with my mom's other sister).

I bought a lot of stuff from them this summer, including a custom upholstered headboard. I love every single thing I bought and it's all held up really well so far. I hope your other stuff gets there soon!

I'm sitting in the graduate lounge next to the kitchen area and everyone here is starting to heat up their dinners. It all smells so good. I can't concentrate on my flashcards.

It may be related to the port negotiations on the west coast. If so, I would assume it's not standard. The port is completely backed up and there is nothing any of the retailers can do about it. Call customer service and see if you can get a discount or your delivery fee credited before you cancel-- unless you just don't want the item anymore.
Everything I've read on-line says that if you've never been diagnosed with a yeast infection before you should go to the doctor. And if I'm going to the doctor anyway, I want the one dose pill. Helloooooo western medicine!
Monistat makes a one dose treatment and it works magically. No need to go yo the doctor for it.
I just sent my husband a text asking if he'd rather have his birthday celebration all at once this weekend or if he wanted to "do the fight part early".
I meant gift. I should really pay more attention when I use Swype.

Okay, thank you for that information, I haven't heard about any of this. And I do want the items, I just want them last month when they were supposed to arrive, lol. I keep getting dates pushed back week after week so I'm just a little annoyed right now. I'll give them until April then I think I'll call it quits.
I started my new job yesterday, and my regional manager seems to think I am catching on quicker than most, which is great. I am still super nervous, though, because this is a straight commission job and I've only ever worked hourly+commission. On the upside, I made my first sale today which was great. I like the people I work for, and they want to move me up to Sales Manager within 9 months assuming my training goes as well as planned and I do well. I have an office for the first time in my life, which is kind of awesome.
I think I'm almost to the point where I can quit GBCN. But then again, I've said that to myself a few times in the past several years. I need to just take the damn app off of my phone.

My BFF ordered custom-embroidered stockings from them for this (their first Christmas with their LO) year and they came back with bright neon orange MOM, DAD, and 'LO NAME' embroidered on them. She was not amused.

this is hosing up several of H's shipments as well. One of the ships doesn't even have a docking date yet and H has already missed two deadlines. ?
