Today I was thinking, self, this week of taking care of a baby while simultaneously having a stomach bug and a cold while being cooped up inside during a snowstorm just wasn't hard enough. And lo, my husband bequeathed unto me tonight the revelation that said baby is teething.
Also we quit newborn cloth diapers today. I cannot deal with the leaking around his little chicken legs every time he pees and we figured out that prefolds were irritating his peen. We'll pick it back up when he porks up enough for OS diapers.
That sounds like a good plan.
I'm debating whether I'm actually going to do OS cloth diapers even. It will depend on whether or not we can resolve the labor intensive eating situation. I'm pretty sure cloth diapers + pumping would break me.

Just did a 30 min workout video for the first time in months and I got really nauseous at the end. I knew I was out of shape but jeez. Now I know I need to get in a little better shape before I try one of the hour long classes at the gym.

Put your H on diaper duty? Tyler took over washing and stuffing of them and I washed bottles.
D doesn't like us using lights in the evening. She turns them all off.
How very baby-MM! Save $ by saving energy. LoL
We are moving into our new house this weekend and have packed pretty much nothing. Yesterday, DH told me that we couldn't buy new bedroom furniture bc it's going to be expensive to move, pay utility deposits, etc., and "we can't afford to buy all new everything." Not twenty minutes later, he's on Amazon looking to BUY cardboard boxes to move with. Really? We can't afford one new dresser, but we can buy $150 worth of boxes. Disposable boxes. Fu€king boxes! I told him that was dumb, he said he had never moved and NOT bought boxes. So I made it my day's mission to collect entirely too many boxes from around town. I went to the appliance store, grocery store and lquor store, then proceeded to stack them wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling in our spare room and send him a picture captioned "FREE" while he was at work today.
My pretty princess beagle girl stooped to a new poop eating low today...toddler poop. Aj had flung his diaper on the ground while Daddy was changing him and Georgie got to the poop before J could stop her. EWWWW. He actually yelled at her...and the little daddy's girl pouted downstairs for half an hour.
look at this face. She's too cute to have such a disgusting habit.

I went for a run this afternoon and had a beer with dinner. I'm frankly surprised that I'm still awake! But I'm sure that once I decide on dessert then I'll pass out on the couch.
deej I can't see sig pics usually (blocked at work, and usually use the app at home) but I love the pic of your boys from their Target session They are adorable!
I am so so glad DH did not go to work for 2 government agencies that would involve him traveling a lot and not being able to tell me what he does.
I always tell DH I wish he would go on classified projects at work so I wouldn't have to hear about them! lolol (I am j/k but engineering talk can be boring)
My H isn't allowed to talk about work. It's awesome! It was especially awesome when I was working for a confidential hotline and couldn't discuss my work either. It was great to keep our conversations focused on fun stuff. Now our convos are all Jack or tv related, lol. How times have changed!
My mom is making me crazy. She asked me for work advice on Saturday, which I provided. Then she called me Sunday to help her with an email to her boss, which I did. Then Monday night she sent me the email to provide feedback, which I did. Then tonight I called to see if my feedback made sense. Every time we spoke, she repeated the entire saga from the beginning, sparing no details. MOTHER, YOU ALREADY TOLD ME THIS 4 TIMES. Whoa. Now, I'm really exhausted.
DD has boycotted her nap for the past 9 school days. OMG she is such a whiny mess every night and begs to go to bed in the middle of dinner. Well, tonight, she was miraculously a little angel. So sweet and well-behaved. Told me she loved me like 35 times. DH is not home, so I assume that she would have directed all of this toward him since he is the preferred parent, but damn I am just soaking it in.

My H looooves to talk about work. I would do what page does except he kind of quizzes me sometimes "remember when I told you about Bruce?" and waits for me to say "yeah, in Springfield" ersumshit like that. Come on man!
My cousin just called and asked for his wife and baby to stay with us next weekend. That makes 9 people and 2 babies. In our 3 bedroom tiny house. Luckily we have unlimited hot water. This is going to be insane. Luckily its only 2 nights.
I am really confused about this job I interviewed for. I had the interview a couple weeks ago and he's been emailing me ever since. I really wish he would say yes we're interested or no we're not instead of dragging it out and making me wait impatiently.

Yeah, he's already doing at least half the work and we're both wiped:). It may get better though.

YES. And somehow DH works with a ton of people with the same name. He'll tell me a story about George and when I say "oh, the one who works on cars?" he's all, no, one of the other Georges. ARGH.
I did have to sort of learn what he does, though, because I used to just say that he works with computers which is a) not exactly true and b) led to everyone asking if he'd fix their computer. WTF, no, he does not want to fix your computer. I can never remember which team he's responsible for at work. I have a cram session before every company event. It's pretty damn embarrassing to be all, "oh, I'm so-and-so's wife" and when asked what he does be like "ummm...something?" Lol.

Lol. DH's old roommate thought H "worked on computers" because he had a work laptop that he brought home every night! Ha! He works in pharma.
I painted like 1/3 of my first room today (laundry room). It's not even a big room, I just really suck. Somehow I have to finish it and get a second coat on it by Friday though, since we are putting up cabinets, etc. on Saturday.
Does the baby dropping mean anything? My NST monitors went from belly button level last week to pubic bone level this week. I also think I may have lost my mucus plug Sunday (or parts of it). This is good news, right? I have to be induced at 39w if he's not here already, so I am hopeful to see signs of progress. But I'm also not quite ready for him now since it's only 35w. Also, I still need to get my hair highlighted, eyebrows waxed and a pedicure. Priorities.
The trials of in-home daycare. (This is our first issue in almost 3 years.)
Daycare lady is having day surgery tomorrow. She told us over a month ago. We arranged back up care with a friend that does drop-in daycare.
Her kid started puking tonight.
Many phone calls later, DH's unemployed aunt is coming to our house. Our kids barely know her, and DS will be pissed he's not going to play with his buddy all day.
DH is a gym teacher. I like to tell people he plays dodgeball all day...he hates that I've already worked a shit ton of hours this week, but tomorrow should be better - so I'm celebrating with a beer! Or 3. I'm expecting a job offer this week and I'm 99.9% sure I'll turn it down. I'm hoping they choose another candidate instead to spare me from making the decision.
