For whatever reason, Andrew's school does their individual pictures in the fall and their class picture in the spring. I've complained before that his class is all smocked clothing and shortalls, especially for pictures. I won't dress him in that stuff, for sure, but I'm trying to come up with something that won't look totally out of place in a sea of smock. Add to that the uncertainty of weather. The photos are supposed to be outside on March 17th. It could be freezing or could be 80Ëš. Anybody have any thoughts? Remember, I'm poor, so stick to inexpensive stores with frequent sales.
Ours do the same thing with respect to pictures. Solo in fall and group in spring. I wonder why? I love my smocked clothes but won't dress him in that for school pictures. I think polo in a might spring color (like a light green) and a pair of khakis will be perfect.
I just came in to suggest honeybee503 Easter outfit too. Or a solid polo or long sleeved collared shirt with plaid shorts. I can't get behind the smocking & especially for boys.
Today was picture day at Max's preschool. Everyone seems to have sent their boys in plaid button-downs and jeans. That is sort of the "dressed up" socal attire for boys here. I sent Max in a green t-shirt and this jacket from Gymboree that he never gets to wear:
The kids loved the pocket bunny. Hope he kept it on for the pictures!
I got that on supersale. I rarely go to Gymbo.
Target? I like some of their winter sweaters - although if it's hot you may just want something lighter like a button down <--- haha.
