How have you found converse sizing to run for toddler shoes? I'd like to get DD a pair, and printed out the size chart, but it just doesn't seem right. According to the chart, DD's 4 1/2" feet would fit in a size 6. Do they run super small?
I printed out size charts for a few other brands, and according to them, she would be a size 3 in SKR, SR and Saltwater Sandals.
I've always bought the same size as any other shoe he's wearing at that time and they fit fine. They're narrow but I think size-wise they run normal, or at least I've never had to size up.
I was just thinking that the pair someone gave me always seemed pretty small. Not quite THAT small, but she has a pair of size 5's and outgrew them a solid 2 months before she outgrew her size 5 robeez shoes. They had/have really stiff soles though, so maybe that was part of the problem.
DD got a pair of size 4s for Christmas when she was only a month old so she hasn't actually worn them yet. She is getting close to wearing them though and they seem about the same size as some other size 4s that she has so I would say pretty true to size based on our experience.
I think they actually run a little big. DD has small feet anyway, but at 19 months, she still fits in a size 3 that were big on her in the fall. She's wearing 4s in other shoes.
They've always ran pretty big for my boys. Like at least a whole size big.
DS2 has a pair right now that are size 8.5 and they are HUGE on him despite him wearing a size 8 or 8.5 in other shoes he has. But of course, now that he's seen them and tried them on (just wanted to see if they fit yet or not, I bought them a while ago) he is obsessed and always wants to wear them. So he's been walking around all floppy footed recently.
