Anyone doing Restaurant Week?

It is Restaurant Week in Boston this week and next!

This is probably the last one we can do easily, well without paying a ton for a babysitter.  We're going for convenience this week and trying Seasons 52 near our house on Friday.  No menu posted, but I've heard the food is really good!  I'm so excited for a good meal.

I think I'd like to go somewhere else next week.  Any suggestions?

BF and I made rezzies at Precinct because it's close to my apt. Then I realized that the menu isn't good for Saturday - the night we wanted to go out. We're still going to eat there though.

noodleoo, let me know how Seasons is. We tried to stop there for lunch one weekend, and it was like an hour wait. No way was the pregnant lady going to wait that long for food, heh.

I am no actual help because I avoid RW like the plague. We do have a reservation at Boston Chops on Saturday for my husband's birthday, so I was relieved to see they're not doing it on Saturday night. I skimmed the list, though, and there seemed to be a lot of just ok on there, nothing awesome jumped out at me. (Side note- soooo not a good idea when I'm already starving.)

noodleoo and 5kcandlesinthewind Seasons 52 is really good. H and I went there once A few months ago and really enjoyed it. We loved the little shot glass desserts.

Didn't know about it but now I want to go! I always have such a hard time picking a place though.

I am! I am meeting someone from the old school Pets board from TN this afternoon at Bar Boulud. The menu looks so yummy and she is awesome so I am really excited. Added bonus, I don't even have to go outside to get there which I originally thought I did. It is really freaking cold out.

I think some of my co-workers and I are going to hit somewhere else up for lunch next week. Not sure where yet though.

We did Seasons 52 last night and it was AWESOME!!!!! The RW menu wasn't really advertised, we had to ask for it. You got to pick 1 flatbread, 2 salads, 2 entrees and 2 shot glass desserts. Portions were much lager than I expected and everything was delicious. We had such a great night! And it was an amazing deal for $33 each, since our entrees alone were $27 and $25 on the regular menu! I highly recommend it. They had live music in the bar too! It was such a nice date night!

Now we need to pick another place for next week. Where's to go...

This sounds like an excellent idea. You deserve a treat.  Any updates on the job front?

Radio silence. I last spoke to the guy on 2/23 and he told me what the next steps and timing would be, so I'm reluctant to reach out again.
