EA has shut down Maxis!

I don't know what this means, but I think we won't actually get any new sims games (sim city or the sims) though it sounds like they will continue to develop new content at other studios.

ETA: Looks like sims 4 will still get expansions, but I doubt we'll ever see a sims 5. We'll have to see.

That sucks!! That more likely mean that there won't a Sims4 for the Xbox either.

EA - maker of all things evil.
Although, to be fair, they may have milked the franchise as much as possible. (We have a friend who does analytics in the gaming industry balancing those numbers.) They've done a good job of continually pissing off fans.

Well I'm glad I never got into the Sims 4. EA really does ruin everything.
