I introduced myself earlier this thread is to introduce my fur babies.
Koda is my little monster. I adopted her about 20 months ago and I feel like I am just now getting to know her. I adopted her with another cat they were supposedly a bonded pair. Not really. The other cat ran away about 3 weeks ago. The door was accidentally left open and he took advantage. We've tried to catch him twice he, has no interest in coming back inside. Koda has blossomed in his absence she is more affectionate and playful. She also gets along much better with Paddy.
Paddy is the big yellow beast that I inhereited with my H. She's incredibly jealous when anybody gets attention, she wants to be the only one getting attention. We bought a house in May so she would have a yard to play in.
I was quite upset over the other one going missing until it became apparent that he doesn't want to live here. We were putting food out but the birds were eating it. We see him from time to time in the alley and as soon as he sees us he runs in the other direction. The change in behavior of Koda has been a benefit and made me see that if Tag does come back at some point we will likely rehome him. He needs to be in a single animal home.
Aww, that's such a sad situation. I'm sorry. I had a similar cat as a kid. She was definitely meant to be an outdoorsy kitty and she ended up "living" at the neighbor's.
