Hoping your collective knowledge will help me out here. I'm planning my sister's bridal shower and am looking to rent a room with tables for around 30 people. We're planning on getting catering for an afternoon tea from here: www.vintageteaandcake.com/afternoontea/ but I am coming up empty for locations on Google.
I don't have advice on the room but I just wanted to say that we are having the girls' first birthday catered from them. We are doing a "tea for two theme" It's this Saturday so I'll let you know how it is!
lauren170 the catering was really good! Everyone really enjoyed it and the mini desserts were fantastic. We had mini key lime tarts, cherry cheesecakes, and butter cookies dipped in chocolate.
Since we weren't doing a formal tea she just dropped everything off at the house so I can't speak to her set up etc. But the food was all really good. We had 4 types of tea sandwhiches, scones, and the desserts.

That's awesome!!! I'd love to see a picture if you have one. Still haven't found a venue I like yet. Thinking of going to Concord Inn because they do tea too and prices are okay.
