It got me thinking though, I'm pretty damn squeamish and "ew!" about bodily functions. I famously don't discuss anything like that with anyone (not even H!) and that scene in Bridesmaids made me want to die, LOL. My friends have teased me for YEARS that I'll have a helluva time when PG and especially with kids since it's no controlling the ickiness!
I'm in sort of denial about the fact that there will be gross mess and lots of it when there are rugrats around, LOL. Just thought I'd throw that out there - I am NOT OK with these thoughts yet, but I'm hopeful that I'll be able to just get the hell over it when the time comes!
Haha. My H is the same way as you...he gets grossed out by a lot of things, even a baby eating. My Dad has told him that when it is your own kid, it doesn't really seem as gross anymore.

My H decided that I will clean up poop, he will do puke. He thinks he will be too grossed out by poo. Baby bodily functions don't really bother me- drool and milk pukes don't faze me. Toddlers are a different story though!
I almost replied that I feel the same way. Then I remembered one of our dogs accidentally peed on the other dog when I let them outside after work today and I wasn't really phased. Just gave them baths and called it a day. So hopefully we'll be okay.
H is being surprisingly un-squeamish about the process of conceiving. At least he's been very attentive in our discussions about my period and my mucus.
As far as babies and messes...I dunno, I guess we'll figure that part out. H works with kids all the time, so I think he has a lot more experience with poop and puke than I do.

I feel like I'm going to get multiple copies of "Everybody Poops" or whatever that book is, whenever baby shower time comes around. Everyone will lauuuughhhh and laauuuggghhh at Viva and her potty talk issues

I hate the word moist. lol It's just...moooiisssttt, ew.
I can handle most bodily fluids; DH cannot. I mean, he gags when he changes the cat box. Guess who's gonna deal with the kids when they puke? C'est Moi. :-(

H and I are both ok with body fluids. It's the L&D that H will have a problem with. He can't even see someone in a surgical mask/scrubs without feeling queasy. We'll see what happens when the time comes!
