I feel like there is so much whining about it! I don't get it. I still slept the same number of hours yesterday that I would have, I went to bed a little bit later but by tonight I'm sure I'll be back on schedule.
I look forward to it every year because I need my sunlight (and warmer weather!). I'm struggling a bit this morning...but I honestly think it's more because my friend talked me into a drink after we went to see the movie last night.

How was the movie?
Good I left a "review" in the Sunday post. I want to see it again with DH! I think he thinks it's more of a girly movie than it really is...
I just hate it for 2 days. Yesterday, I hated it because while yes I slept the same number of hours, it was already an hour later in the day when I woke up and I was just later in doing everything, I felt like the day went by too fast. Today I hated it because it was so much darker in the morning and my body rebelled against waking up because I just couldn't believe it was time based on the lightness level of the room, lol. By tomorrow I will be used to it, and will appreciate the later sunset.
I don't like losing sleep (and it did affect our wake up time yesterday, and we missed church). I am fine today, but had a hard time waking up yesterday. I know it throws off a lot of kids' sleep schedule and it fucks up charting on patients on night shift.
I wish that we (the country, world, the collective we) would just pick a time and stick with it. There is no evidence that it saves energy or whatever stupid reason there is for doing it.
Did not enjoy the darkness when my alarm went off this morning, but I love the extra light at night, so it's worth it! And in another 24 hours, I won't even remember what it was like before, so it kind of feels like a non-issue after the initial adjustment.
I used to love it, especially in spring. Now it really doesn't matter since C goes to bed so early...in fact, it's just messing with his bedtime for now (I'm sure he'll be back to normal in a few days).
I really like the spring forward. Fall back kinda sucks. It effs up a lot of kids' sleep schedules. In spring, it just means DS sleeps later. In the fall, though, they get up even earlier than usual, which isn't a fun adjustment.
