Did you use boneless or bone-in porkchops, and how thick?
I used boneless, the thinner cut. But bone-in, and thicker chops would probably work too, just check the chops, and it's ready when they're falling apart.

I know it's only 4:15 in the afternoon but I'm an old and I eat early. But I made this today and boy was it good. I used my small crockpot (2 qt maybe) and only made half the recipe, but I did this, using homemade turkey stock, packaged cornbread stuffy, added in some jerk seasoning, then pour on the cream of crap and added a tiny bit of vegetable Better than Bouillon. The last 20 minutes or so I threw in some green beans. It was really, really good. Thanks, Bernadine!

Yay, I'm so glad you updated! I was wondering if anyone would actually make it.
I was debating bumping this to say I made it last night! The pork chops really did fall apart, no knife needed.
My H didn't like it because he doesn't like stuffing (wth) and because he's only probably liked 1/10 dishes I've ever made. (Which is why I make him do most of the cooking) The rest of us non picky people thought it was great.
I have made this recipe a few times. The only big problem I have is the stovetop comes out kind of gross. The pork chops are delicious though!
That's why I thought I'd make it with cornbread stuffing, to give it more substance. It was still wetter than normal stuffing, but when I make chicken pot pie, I use stuffing in place of a bottom crust, so it kind of reminded me of that.
