Hi, me again with another cooking question that I should probably know the answer too.
My recipe calls for 1 TB freshly grated ginger. I only have ground from the spice cabinet. So…do I use less? More? Help me please.

Yep, you need about 1/4 the amount, I think. They don't taste the same, though! I only use ground ginger for baking; for savoury dishes that call for fresh ginger I always use fresh.
