If you're chubby, would you be able to sit down comfortably in that without feeling self-conscious about rolls? I think it would be really cute standing up. Not so much sitting down.
I'm older than you and every so often, I grab stuff from there. Last time it was b/c I needed a white cardigan--I knew it would stay white for all of three seconds, so I didn't want to spend money on a nice one.
Heads up--the plus size stuff tends to have a LOT of boob room, so you may be ok with their regular size large if you don't have a massive rack.

I always have rolls. My stomach is my problem area :/
You need something that doesn't hug your gut, dude. I am all gut and I cannot wear a sheath. All the Spanx in the world doesn't hide the gut in a sheath.
You need something with a waist and some flare at the bottom. Like the second one Peekay posted.
Are you an apple? A pear? Giant fat Aunt Sally arms? I feel like I need a picture to dress your body correctly. I would stay away from something too blousy because that only makes you look fatter. Fitted is better. Depending on your body.

I like the ones Jermys posted. I think with Forever 21 you really need to go try this stuff on before you buy it. Their return policy is practically nonexistent.
I think it is because I am on my phone but when I click I just get a bunch of dresses. I am replying because I didn't know f21 had plus sizes and I need a bachelorette party dress so a million thank yous. I have been dreading trying to find something. Also, i carry all my weight in my midsection and I just wanted to second jermys about avoiding a sheath.
It's the dress titled "flock of birds" print. Looks like it would be fitted enough to give you shape but not "gut hugging".
I'm not plus size but I do have massive boobs, and I find necklines like the green dress make me look much heavier than I am. The model looks like she is going to spill out of her dress.
I agree though, it totally depends on your body shape.
I wanted this dress when I was there last week and they only had it left in XS! Fuckers! Back when I was XS they seemed to always have Ls in what I wanted.
