DD can skip a nap. She's grumpy in the evening but she does do it on some school days since she has trouble sleeping at school.
She's been waking late in the morning, 9:15/30 if I let her sleep until waking. This is not going to work come next week when spring break ends and she needs to be at school at 8:30am.
She is having a terrible time falling asleep for naps then I have to wake her up, which is very difficult, and then she can't fall asleep come bedtime (even bedtime pushed back). She didn't fall asleep until 11:00 last night.
I am solo parenting this week while DH is at a conference in San Francisco. Worst timing EVER. He owes me so big when he gets home.
So, suffer through no nap today to try to get her to go to bed at a normal time (her actual bedtime according to the clock, which is an hour early according to her body) or...what?

I'd skip nap. The one and only no so bad thing about Nods being sick, with be that it makes the Dst switch no big deal since her sleep is all messed up anyways.
The hard part of waking her up early is that she doesn't wake up early. She is incredibly difficult to wake up in the morning and from a nap. I've been going in between 8:30 and 8:45 and it takes that long to get her to wake up. I pick her up, change her diaper, bring her downstairs and she just sleeps on my shoulder.
But I'm also a big softie about waking her up so there's that, lol.
Hoping that skipping nap will do the trick! We are enjoying our first viewing of Cinderella ever and then we are going to go on a long walk in our rain boots since the weather has let up.
