I take a very hard line on things like this because I've been burned in the past. So, I consider sexting and all things beyond that cheating for sure. The emotional thing and flirting depend on the situation, like is it an emotional affair? Is he deeply attached to the other person on a level that hurts our marriage?

I'd have to say all of those options, although a few depend on the situation. I'm kind of a flirty person by nature so a little innocent joking to a friend would mean nothing. It would really depend on the intent. Same with emotional involvement. Confiding in someone is probably NBD but it would have to depend on a lot of things.
We're both flirty by nature, so that doesn't bother me. But emotional involvement, sexting, kissing, and anything beyond, are what I consider cheating, and DH agrees.
Everything but flirting. I don't think flirting is necessarily appropriate, but I don't think it's quite cheating either. It depends on if it's harmless banter or if it is flirting with intent.

My first instinct was everything except flirting but my H isn't flirty by nature so it would be out of character for him. With that said, all of the above.
