XP: Dog Incontinence

My poor pup. She just finished a one month round of meds to see if it would cure her incontinence. She has been off it for a few days, and it appears to be back.



We now have two options: go back on the meds she was on before (PPA - possible blood pressure issues) or switch her to estrogen (which will be about $50 per month).



In addition to her health issues, I am allergic to her and need to take medication for my allergies. She is turning in to an expensive little pup!



She is only around 2.5. Anyone have experience with young incontinent dogs? Any words of wisdom you can share? Alternative methods you have tried?



We aren't considering re-homing her or giving her back to the rescue (we love her and Kona loves her). I would love an option where everyone feels good and my home doesn't smell like pee.
